Job Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional guest service and support sales and productivity goals for hair services and haircare products.


• Assist mentor stylist for add?on recommendations, shampoo and treatment process, blowouts and styling, color applications, foils, sanitation, and retail recommendations.


• After the first three months, perform comprehensive hair services including design, cuts, color, treatments, styling, updos, perms, keratin treatments, extensions, makeup, and ear piercing where applicable.


• Demonstrate products to guests to drive sales and enhance the service experience.


• Support in?store events, promotions, and marketing initiatives.


• Stay informed on industry trends, products, and services and counsel guests on ingredients and benefits.


• Maintain reliable attendance and adhere to company dress code and loss?prevention practices.

Job Qualifications

Education

• Cosmetology license.

Skills

• Basic understanding of current salon techniques for haircutting, coloring, styling, treatments, extensions, makeup, and ear piercing services.


• Basic understanding of equipment and chemicals required for technical work.


• Ability to recommend and sell professional hair care and makeup products.


• Strong communication skills.


• Capable of working independently and as part of a team.


• Capacity to build and maintain strong customer relationships.

Special Position Requirements

• Work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Working Conditions

• Frequent mobility during shift.


• Frequent bending, reaching, and twisting.


• Continuous lifting and/or moving up to 10 lbs.


• Ability to stand for long periods of time.


• Continuous coordination and manipulation of objects.


• Frequent use of computer, telephonic devices, and related office and cosmetology supplies.
