Title: PR Peru - Material Handler
Location: Peru, Indiana
Hire Type: 3-Month Contract
Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM. Occasional Saturdays as needed.
Compensation: $18.00 per hour
Must have Skill Set: Material handling experience preferred; forklift experience a plus:
Overview:
The Material Handler supports production by receiving, stocking, and delivering materials to designated workstations throughout the facility. This role ensures accurate inventory control, safe material movement, and timely delivery to support daily operations.
Job Duties:
• Receive, unload, and store materials in inventory
• Pull and transport materials to production and shipping areas
• Operate forklift, pallet jack, and/or overhead crane
• Maintain accurate inventory and documentation
• Follow safety procedures and work instructions
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED required
• 0-5+ years of experience (level-based)
• Forklift and crane certification preferred
• Additional heavy equipment certifications may substitute for experience
