We are looking for a seasoned Quality and Reporting Specialist to become an integral part of our Finance Billing and Reporting team, focusing on our Software & Services (S&S) function.

The Role

As a pivotal member of the cross-functional team, you will help execute GM's Connected Vehicle and Subscription strategies. Your responsibilities will include defining, configuring, testing, and triaging our global OnStar billing and reporting solutions, ensuring quality data is delivered to our stakeholders to maximize subscription revenue and EBIT opportunities across continents including North America, Europe, South America, and the Middle East. Recent projects include Super Cruise, Shopify integration, and the global launch of OnStar's new product catalog.

What You'll Do

  • Utilize emerging tools and technologies to enhance automation and strengthen controls within our billing systems and processes.
  • Enhance automation for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for both financial reporting and billing applications.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to refine reporting requirements and optimize delivery methods, incorporating AI for enriched data insights.
  • Partner with the Enterprise Subscription Billing (ESB) team to establish test definitions for feature acceptance criteria and manage production bug triages.
  • Design and execute strategies for launching new countries/regions into our reporting and billing systems.
  • Assist with the automation of ad-hoc analyses and special project reports including new business development data and tax/compliance audits.

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in SQL development and authoring.
  • Experience with subscription billing concepts/processes and handling large datasets (e.g., Cognos, Toad/SQL Developer, Databricks, Datadog).
  • Strong critical thinking ability and problem-solving skills in collaborative environments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in alignment with department and program objectives.
  • Experience in both team-oriented project work and independent project management.

What Will Give You A Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Experience in deploying innovative billing solutions supporting subscription services.
  • Proven ability to integrate new technologies to uphold data integrity in reporting.
  • Strong independent working skills complemented by critical thinking to navigate challenges and produce quality results.
  • Experience with Zuora Cloud Billing or similar billing/accounting systems is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of finance concepts and accounting principles.

Location: This role is remote, but candidates within a 50-mile radius of Atlanta, Austin, Detroit, Warren, Milford, or Mountain View are expected to report to the designated location at least three times a week.

Compensation:

The compensation information presented is an estimate and may vary based on applicable state laws and specific factors relevant to the position. The salary range for this role is $71,300 - $109,400, with additional bonus potential based on individual and company performance.
