Bar Manager

  2026-04-30     TAG Presents llc     Boise,ID
Description:

WHO WE ARE

TAG Presents is an experienced large-scale events producer and promoter, driving the operational launch and strategy behind a diverse portfolio of live event IPs. From concerts and festivals to community activations, TAG offers a broad range of professional event, marketing, and production services — establishing itself as a leading live events organizer trusted to deliver at every scale.

THE ROLE

Bluebird Social is TAG's newest venture — a one-of-a-kind outdoor social hub in the heart of Boise where food trucks, live music, and community culture collide. We host free and ticketed shows, seasonal events, concerts, and everyday gatherings that bring people together. The energy here is real, the crowd is fired up, and the atmosphere is unlike anything else in the city.

We're looking for a Bar Manager who thrives in that kind of environment — someone who's as comfortable leading a team during a packed show night as they are chatting up a regular on a slow Tuesday. You'll oversee bar operations for a Beer, Wine & RTD program, which means no hard spirits inventory headaches — just a focused, well-run bar that's a blast to work at.

If you're a fun-natured, people-first hospitality pro who loves being part of something bigger than a shift — this one's for you.

The Bluebird difference.

This isn't your typical bar gig. Bluebird is an outdoor social hub where the community comes to gather, discover live music, and enjoy good food and drinks in an upbeat, welcoming atmosphere. We're building something special in Boise — and we want people who are genuinely excited to be part of it.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

  • Oversee daily bar operations and keep everything running smoothly during events, shows, and regular service
  • Hire, train, and lead bar staff — setting the tone for a high-energy, hospitality-first team culture
  • Manage Beer, Wine & RTD inventory — ordering, tracking, and minimizing waste without the complexity of full spirits management
  • Ensure every guest feels welcome and taken care of; handle complaints quickly and with a smile
  • Monitor budgets, control costs, and help set pricing that keeps the bar profitable
  • Maintain full compliance with health, safety, and liquor licensing regulations
  • Build staff schedules that ensure great coverage during peak event nights and festivals
  • Resolve team or guest conflicts calmly and professionally — keeping the vibe positive
  • Collaborate on bar-focused promotions, event activations, and seasonal specials
  • Be a visible, energetic presence on the floor — this is not a back-office role

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • 2+ years of bar management or supervisory experience in a high-volume or events-driven setting
  • Genuine love for upbeat, social environments — you're energized by a packed crowd, not stressed by it
  • Strong leadership chops — your team respects you because you show up for them
  • Experience with Beer, Wine & RTD programs (familiarity with hard spirits is a bonus but not required here)
  • Solid understanding of inventory control, cost management, and liquor compliance
  • Excellent communicator — with guests, staff, and venue leadership
  • Flexible and adaptable; no two nights at Bluebird are exactly the same
  • You're fun-natured, community-minded, and genuinely love what you do
