Warehouse Order SelectorA leading foodservice distribution company is seeking warehouse order selectors for its Boise, Idaho facility. This is a full-time, ongoing contract position within a fast-paced industrial warehouse environment, supporting order fulfillment operations using electric pallet jacks and RF scanning technology.Location: Boise, ID (5710 Pan Am Blvd, Boise, ID 83716)Schedule: Sunday–Friday, 5 days per week (Friday overtime as needed); shift runs 5:30 PM–2:00 AM, occasionally until 5:00 AM depending on workload, with a half-hour unpaid lunchHours: 40 hours/week (8-hour shifts)Contract Duration: Approximately 78 weeks (3,120 total hours)Travel: None requiredPositions Available: 3Key Responsibilities:Operate a ride-on electric pallet jack (EPJ) to transport and select productsUtilize handheld RF/arm scanners to accurately pick and pack customer ordersRetrieve and organize product in cooler and freezer environmentsLift and move items weighing 10–75 lbs, occasionally up to 100 lbsReach up to 72 inches and frequently bend/twist while operating equipmentMaintain accuracy, safety, and efficiency standards throughout shiftRequired Qualifications:Minimum 18 years of age2–3 years of relevant warehouse or distribution experienceProven experience operating a ride-on electric pallet jack (EPJ)RF scanner experience (handheld arm scanner, not headset)Order picking and packing experienceAbility to stand and work on feet for 10–12 hour shiftsAbility to work in extreme temperatures, including cooler and freezer settingsPreferred Qualifications:Prior experience in a high-volume distribution centerFamiliarity with warehouse management systems (WMS)Strong attention to detail and ability to work independentlyAbout the Role:This position offers a stable, full-time schedule with a leading company in the foodservice distribution industry. Interviews are conducted in person only, scheduled Monday through Thursday between 4 PM and 7 PM. Compensation is competitive and will be discussed during the interview process.
