Shipping And Receiving Specialist

The Shipping & Receiving Specialist is responsible for safely loading, unloading, moving, and staging decking products throughout the yard using large-capacity forklifts. This role supports daily shipping and receiving operations by verifying incoming and outgoing materials, assisting with truck weigh-ins and weigh-outs, maintaining accurate inventory records, and utilizing computers and supply chain management systems to track product movement. Associates are expected to learn and identify a wide variety of decking products, maintain an organized work area, and ensure shipments are processed accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate large-capacity forklifts (8,000 to 12,000 lbs.) to load, unload, move, and stage decking products.
• Verify incoming and outgoing materials and assist with truck weigh-ins and weigh-outs.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using computers and supply chain management systems.
• Identify a wide variety of decking products and maintain an organized work area.
• Ensure shipments are processed accurately and efficiently.
• Frequently lift and move materials weighing 50 to 75 pounds.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and wind.

This is a Contract position based out of Meridian, ID.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
